Holy Ground
BibleWithLife

STOMP... STOMP...)
Out in the desert, far from the throne,
A shepherd wandered all alone.
Then on the mountain a fire did rise-A living flame before his eyes.
(STOMP)

The branches burned, yet were not consumed...
And silence trembled in the dune.
[Chorus - Full Male Crew, Strong Harmony]

I AM, the Great I AM!
The God of Isaac and Abraham!
Go tell Pharaoh, let them go-The Lord of Hosts has spoken so!
(STOMP! STOMP!)

[Verse 2 - Deep Bass Lead]

"Take off your sandals," the Holy Voice cried,
"This ground is sacred. Draw aside.
I've heard My people's weary plea,
Their chains will break. They will be free."
The desert wind began to shake-The earth itself seemed wide awake.
[Chorus - Stronger, Add Harmony Layer]

I AM, the Great I AM!
The God of Isaac and Abraham!
Go tell Pharaoh, let them go-No earthly king can stand My throne!
(STOMP! STOMP!)

[Verse 3 - Lead Singer, Emotional]

"But who am I?" the shepherd said,
"My tongue is weak, my courage dead.

When they demand the Name You claim,
What shall I speak? What is Your Name?"
(The drums soften...)

From flame and thunder came reply:
[Pre-Chorus - Half Volume, Suspense]

"I AM WHO I AM."
(Pause)

"And I will be what I will be."
[Chorus - Full Power Explosion]

I AM, the Great I AM!
Before all time, before all man!
Go tell Pharaoh, let them go-The River will part at My command!
(STOMP! STOMP!)

[Bridge - Call & Response (Epic, Not Hype)]

(Lead) Who shakes the mountain?
(Crew) THE GREAT I AM!
(Lead) Who breaks the prison?
(Crew) THE GREAT I AM!
(Lead) Who walks through fire?
(Crew) THE GREAT I AM!
(Lead) Who reigns forever?
(Crew) THE GREAT I AM!
Drums build...
[Final Chorus - Highest Energy]

I AM, the Great I AM!
The covenant stands, the promise began!
Go tell Pharaoh, let them go-No chain can bind what God commands!
(STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!)

[Outro - A Cappella, Slow & Deep]

Go tell Pharaoh...
Let them go...

The Lord...
Is the Great I AM.
(Deep final stomp: BOOM.)
