Looking Up — BibleWithLife | Christian Worship Music

[Verse 1]
Midnight blue light on my face again
Scrolling through the perfect lives of all my friends
An endless stream that can't give grace, this hunger won't subside
A thousand likes and still a place where I can't seem to hide

[Chorus]
'Cause I'm done with the scrolling, Lord I'm looking up to You
This empty feed won't feed me like Your truth always does
I'm trading in the noise for the whisper of Your name
Jesus, set this weary soul on fire with holy flame

[Verse 2]
I follow trends and hashtags, try to play the part
Till I had built a kingdom on a restless, anxious heart
This curated identity, a fragile house of cards
Your nail-scarred hands reach out to heal my deepest scars

[Chorus]
'Cause I'm done with the scrolling, Lord I'm looking up to You
This empty feed won't feed me like Your truth always does
I'm trading in the noise for the whisper of Your name
Jesus, set this weary soul on fire with holy flame

[Bridge]
The only share that matters is the cross You bore for me
The only post I need to see: the empty tomb's victory
The only like I'm chasing is to hear You say, "Well done"
My identity is finished in the work of God's own Son

[Outro]
No more scrolling!
Only seeking

No more hiding!
Only speaking Your holy name

Your holy name
