One Thing I Ask
BibleWithLife

[Intro: Female Vocal]

One thing I ask
One thing I seek
To dwell within Your presence
To gaze upon Your beauty
[Verse 1: Male Vocal]

You are my light and my salvation
Whom then shall I fear?
You are the stronghold of my life
When enemies draw near
Though an army rises against me
My heart will still believe
For in the day of trouble
You will shelter me
[Chorus: Male and Female Duet]

One thing I ask
One thing I seek
To dwell within Your house
All the days You give to me
To gaze upon Your beauty
To worship at Your feet
Jesus, You are all I want
You are everything I need
[Verse 2: Female Vocal]

You said to me, "Come, seek My face"
My heart replied, "Lord, I will"
Do not hide Your face from me
You have always been my help
Though my father and my mother leave
You will take me in
Teach me, Lord, and lead me
On a straight and level path
[Bridge: Female Vocal]

I will see Your goodness
In the land of the living

[Bridge: Male Vocal]

I will wait upon You
I will take heart and believe
[Bridge: Male and Female Duet]

I will wait for You
I will wait for You
[Final Chorus: Male and Female Duet]

One thing I ask
One thing I seek
To dwell within Your house
All the days You give to me
To gaze upon Your beauty
To worship at Your feet
Jesus, You are all I want
You are everything I need
[Outro: Female Vocal with Male Harmony]

One thing I ask
To be where You are
