Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us | EBENEZER
BibleWithLife

(Spoken Word, low and intimate):
Breathe in...
That sound--is His name.
[Verse 1]

I used to think You were a storm
A distant judge upon a throne
I kept my eyes lowered down
I thought Your glory meant alone
[Pre-Chorus 1]
(Strings begin to enter, slow build)

But then You whispered Your name
The God who breathes in me
The One who can't be tamed
You poured Your Spirit through me
[Chorus]

Yahweh, Yahweh
The sound of the inhale
The breath of the free
Yahweh, Yahweh
The Great I AM
Is alive inside me
I don't need a mountain
I don't need a flame
Every breath I take
Is singing Your name
Yahweh.
[Verse 2]

Moses shook before the bush
Elijah heard the quiet wind
I'm a beggar in the noise
But You tear the veil and pull me in
[Pre-Chorus 2]

You taught me Your holy name
The One who is, who was
Who breathes the world to flame
You came to find me in the dark
[Half Chorus]

(Drums hit hard, full band, then drop)

Yahweh, Yahweh
The sound of the inhale
The breath of the free
Yahweh, Yahweh
The Great I AM
Is alive inside me
Yahweh.
[Bridge]

You said "I AM WHO I AM"
And You breathed it into mine
You're not just a story
You're the breath I cannot earn
You are the holy fire
That my lungs have always known
[Final Chorus]

Yahweh! Yahweh!
The sound of the inhale!
The breath of the free!
Yahweh! Yahweh!
The Great I AM
Is alive inside me!
I don't need a mountain
I don't need a flame
Even my silence
Is singing Your name!
Yahweh!
[Outro]

The sound of the inhale.
The breath of the free.
Be the breath in my lungs...
Until my final sleep.
Yahweh.
