Worthy is the Lamb — BibleWithLife | Christian Worship Music

[Intro Spoken Word]
John, on the isle of Patmos, for the word of God,
Heard a great voice like a trumpet saying:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,
The first and the last.”

[Verse 1]
I turned to see the voice that spoke,
A vision to behold.
One like the Son of Man,
In shining white and gold.
His eyes a flame of burning fire,
His hair as white as snow.
A voice of many waters,
From Him all blessings flow.

[Pre-Chorus 1]
A two-edged sword came from His mouth,
Seven stars within His hand.
The first, the last, the Living One,
The Ruler of the land.

[Chorus]
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
To receive power and glory.
Forever He shall reign.
All wisdom, honor, strength, and praise,
We lift unto the throne.
All creation sings Your name,
And Your name alone.

[Verse 2]
Then through an open door in heaven,
A future was revealed.
A city, New Jerusalem,
A promise long fulfilled.
Descending from the heavens,
Adorned just like a bride.
Where God shall dwell among His own,
And every tear is dried.

[Pre-Chorus 2]
No more of tears, no more of death,
No more of bitter cries.
The former things have passed away,
Beneath the holy skies.

[Chorus]
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
To receive power and glory.
Forever He shall reign.
All wisdom, honor, strength, and praise,
We lift unto the throne.
All creation sings Your name,
And Your name alone.

[Bridge]
Behold, I’m making all things new,
The voice from heaven cried.
The river of life, the healing tree,
Where all are satisfied.
I am the Root, the Morning Star,
The End and the Beginning.
A final word of saving grace,
A victory over sin.

[Final Chorus]
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
To receive power and glory.
Forever He shall reign.

Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! For the Lord God reigns.
Hallelujah! He has broken all the chains.

The King of all kings,
The Lord of all lords.
Amen, forever Amen!
