Scripture & Song · Edition 002
You are allowed to rest.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalm 23:1-3 · KJV
There is a kind of tiredness that comes from being the dependable one. You remember the appointment, answer the message, and notice what everyone else needs. By evening, even a kind invitation can feel like another thing to do.
Psalm 23 begins with a Shepherd, not a performance review. Its picture of green pastures and still waters belongs beside its later picture of the valley. Rest is not proof that every problem has disappeared; it is part of being cared for along the way.
Listen without trying to make this moment productive. If someone has been carrying more than you realized, offer something specific: a meal, an errand, or an hour in which they do not have to be in charge.

Who takes care of everyone?
Let their care be noticed. A personal song can say thank you; a practical act of help can say it too.
