Scripture & Song · Edition 006
When the answer takes time.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalm 27:14 · KJV
Waiting can make an ordinary day feel suspended. You check for a reply, calculate what might happen, and wonder whether you should already be somewhere else. It is hard to settle into a life that feels unfinished.
Psalm 27 holds confidence and pleading in the same prayer. Its final call to wait on the Lord does not provide a timetable or promise a particular outcome. Courage here is not certainty about the next event; it is continued trust while the answer remains unclear.
Choose one faithful thing that is possible today: do the work in front of you, ask for help, or rest from checking. If a friend is waiting too, offer company without predicting how their story will turn out.
One Thing I Ask

Who is in an unfinished chapter?
Give them encouragement without making predictions. A personal song can remind them that they have company while they wait.
